Armenia and India discuss military-technical cooperation
Armenia's Defense Minister Suren Papikyan discussed defense cooperation with India's Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh.
According to the press service of the Armenian military department, the meeting took place on Monday in Yerevan.
The parties reviewed issues related to Armenian-Indian interaction in the defense sphere, including military-technical cooperation.
In recent years, India has become a key arms supplier for Armenia's Armed Forces. As Indian media reported earlier, in 2022-2023 the parties concluded contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Under the agreements, New Delhi has already handed over or is preparing to hand over to Armenia multiple launch rocket systems, self-propelled howitzers, air defense systems, and various munitions.
