Israeli minister called for killing 30-40 people in Gaza every night
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir believes that Israel should carry out 30 to 40 targeted killings in Gaza every night and begin building Jewish settlements in the enclave while simultaneously encouraging the emigration of the Palestinians living there.
He made the statement in an interview with Rom Braslavski, a former hostage who was held for more than two years by radicals in the Gaza Strip.
"I think we should carry out targeted killings in Gaza, eliminating 30 to 40 people every night. Not only those who pose an immediate threat. No, there (in the Gaza Strip - TASS) are people who do not deserve to live. They should not live, they are not even human beings," Ben-Gvir said, explaining that it is "no secret" that he disagrees with the policy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on this issue, who has reduced the scale of strikes against radicals in Gaza in recent weeks due to the position of the United States.
In addition, Ben-Gvir called for the restoration of the two dozen settlements withdrawn from the Gaza Strip 21 years ago as part of the so-called unilateral disengagement program of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. "I consider all of Gaza ours. Settlements [should be] not only in Gush Katif (a former bloc of settlements dismantled in 2005 - TASS), but throughout the entire Gaza Strip, while encouraging as much emigration [of Palestinians] to other countries as possible, and for terrorists - no emigration, nothing, just killing them one by one," Ben-Gvir said.
In addition, Braslavski asked Ben-Gvir whether he could personally execute his kidnapper. "Let me hang him. With my own hands I will execute every terrorist in Israel," he said, addressing the national security minister. Ben-Gvir replied that he would "turn the world upside down to make that happen."
