Trump threatens to resume strikes on Iran if dissatisfied with agreement
The memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran, the signing of which is planned for Friday, is not final; Washington may resume strikes on the Islamic Republic if it does not like how Tehran fulfills the terms of the deal.
This was stated by US President Donald Trump.
"This is not a final [deal]. This is a memorandum of understanding. And if I don't like it, we will continue to shoot at them and drop bombs on their heads," the American leader said at a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in the French Evian, where the G7 summit is taking place.
"If he [the memorandum] I don't like it, if they don't obey, we will start dropping bombs on them again. Because they haven't obeyed for 47 years," Trump added.
