Trump arrives late to G7 summit, stating: 'I'm the boss'
U.S. President Donald Trump arrived late to one of the sessions of the G7 summit dedicated to development issues.
According to Bloomberg, by the time of his appearance in the hall almost everyone had already taken their seats.
Upon entering the room, Trump jokingly said: "I'm the boss here" (I'm the boss).
U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent had reserved a seat for the president at that time. Trump suggested that he remain at the meeting if he wanted to, the agency writes.
While the summit participants were awaiting the arrival of the American president, he published a post on his social network dedicated to the situation surrounding the Senate confirmation of the U.S. Director of National Intelligence nominee.
