More than a thousand foreigners received a 'traditional values' visa in Russia

More than 1.1 thousand foreign citizens received a Russian "traditional values" visa in 2025, said Director of the Consular Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Klimov.

According to him, Russian diplomatic missions and consular institutions issued 1,112 visas in accordance with the presidential decree "On providing humanitarian support to persons who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values."

Germany became the leader in the number of visas issued with 168, followed by France (140) and the United States (105). Italy (100) and Estonia (63) also made it into the top five. Next were Latvia (60), Canada (54), Lithuania (46) and Australia (43).

Earlier, President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is ready to accept and support those who move to the country to preserve traditional family values.
