Exercises involving troops from NATO countries start in Armenia

The Eagle Partner-2026 exercises, involving Armenian, American, French and Greek servicemen, started on Wednesday in Armenia, the press service of the defense ministry of the Transcaucasian republic reports.

"As part of preparations for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the Eagle Partner-2026 exercises were launched on June 17 at the "Zar" training center. The national anthems of Armenia, the USA, France and Greece, as well as the anthem of the exercises, were played. The servicemen were greeted by Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Major General Artur Yeroyan," the statement said.

The press service recalled that the exercises involve servicemen from the peacekeeping brigade of the Armenian Armed Forces, the US Army in Europe and Africa, the Kansas National Guard, as well as the armed forces of France and Greece.
