Real announce signing of Bernardo Silva
Real Madrid have announced on their official website the signing of Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva.
He left Manchester City upon the expiration of his contract and will continue his career in Madrid.
Silva and Real signed a contract until the summer of 2028.
Earlier, media reported that the player’s salary at Real will amount to €20 million per year. The player will also receive a signing bonus of €10 million, while his agent Jorge Mendes and father will receive another €10 million in commissions.
In the past season, the midfielder played 53 matches for Manchester City in all competitions, scoring three goals and providing five assists. During his time at the English club since 2017, he won 19 trophies, including six Premier League titles and the Champions League.
