Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have sent a wreath to the farewell ceremony for Alexander Sharovsky.

As Report informs, the ceremony is being held at the Russian Drama Theater.

Taking part in the ceremony are members of the deceased's family, his close relatives, officials of the Ministry of Culture, People's Artists, and members of the public.

Following the farewell ceremony, the People's Artist will be buried in the II Alley of Honor.
