Emergency off Turkey's coast: plane from Georgia makes emergency landing on water - PHOTO

A small plane that took off from Georgia with two people on board made an emergency landing on the water off the coast of Turkey's Rize province.

As 1news.az reports citing Turkish media, a search and rescue operation is currently underway.

According to the information, the incident occurred off the coast of the Çayeli district.

The cause of the emergency landing has not yet been determined. However, it is reported that the plane took off from Batumi.
