White House: costs of war with Iran amounted to about $30 billion

Total expenditures on the U.S. military operation against Iran amounted to about $30 billion.

According to TASS, this was stated by White House Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought.

"We spent about $30 billion," he said at hearings in the House Appropriations Committee of Congress.

He was asked to comment on data that military spending had already exceeded $100 billion. "Well, I'm just conveying to you what I heard from the Defense Department, and the results of the analysis that they provided us," Vought responded, without going into details.
