Trump: Iran will not enrich uranium, and the US will remove 'nuclear dust'
US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran will not engage in uranium enrichment, and the United States, in collaboration with Tehran, will extract and remove deeply buried 'nuclear dust.'
'There will be no uranium enrichment, and the United States, working with Iran, will dig up and remove all the deeply buried nuclear 'dust,'' Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social.
According to him, the relevant facilities are under 'very close satellite surveillance' by the US Space Force, and since the strike, they have allegedly remained untouched.
On April 7, US President Donald Trump announced a two-week mutual ceasefire with Iran. This decision was made in consideration of a proposal by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and 'with the readiness of the Islamic Republic of Iran to fully, immediately, and safely reopen the Strait of Hormuz,' the American leader clarified. As reported by Iranian state television, Tehran put forward 10 conditions for the ceasefire, which the US 'was forced to agree to.' These include the principle of non-aggression, Tehran’s control over the Strait of Hormuz, uranium enrichment on the territory of the Islamic Republic, the lifting of primary and secondary sanctions, payment of compensation, and the withdrawal of American forces from the region.
The office of Netanyahu stated that Israel supports the US decision for a two-week ceasefire with Iran. At the same time, the statement emphasizes that the agreement does not extend to Lebanon, where the Israeli army is conducting military operations against the military units of the pro-Iranian Shiite organization Hezbollah.
