Russia to restrict imports of eggplants, potatoes and dried fruits from Armenia

Rosselkhoznadzor from June 3 restricts the import of pome crops, eggplants, potatoes and dried fruits from Armenia.

This is stated in the service's message.

“Rosselkhoznadzor from June 3, 2026 introduces temporary restrictions on the import of fruits of pome crops, eggplants, potatoes and dried fruits originating and dispatched from Armenia, as well as on the transit of these products to the EAEU member states due to the lack of mechanisms for confirming the receipt of quarantine products by these countries.

Restrictions are established until the development of an appropriate algorithm to ensure the safety of shipped goods,” the service reports.
