Vance admits midterm elections will be tough for Republicans

Midterm elections in the US this fall will be difficult for representatives of the Republican Party and their results may turn out bad for the ruling party.

This was stated by US Vice President JD Vance.

"Midterm elections are always very difficult for the ruling party. If you look back at history, even if things are going very well for the country, midterm elections turn out to be very bad for the country or for the ruling party," he said in an interview with Fox News.

At the same time, the American vice president said that he sees a chance for a positive result for Republicans in the fact that the head of the American administration "has fulfilled many key promises made during the election campaign," as well as in the inability of Democrats, in his opinion, to nominate suitable people to get votes from Americans.

Midterm elections in the US will be held on November 3. A third of the Senate and the entire House of Representatives will be re-elected. Both chambers of Congress are currently under the control of Republicans.
