Jeyhun Bayramov discusses implementation of TRIPP project with Ben Black
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Ben Black, chief executive officer of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
The sides discussed prospects for Azerbaijani-American cooperation in energy, transport and transit, high technology, and investment. The role of Azerbaijan in links between Europe and Central Asia, issues of port and logistics infrastructure, energy security, and regional transport projects were also touched upon.
The meeting noted the importance of the 2025 Washington summit in developing relations between Azerbaijan and the United States. The agreements reached there formed the basis for expanding cooperation. In this context, the sides also noted the important role of the Strategic Partnership Charter between the two states, covering such sectors as the economy, energy, transport, high technology, and security.
The meeting discussed implementation of the TRIPP project, which will ensure unimpeded communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
