The World Food Programme (WFP) of the UN is ready to provide assistance after the devastating earthquake in Venezuela.

This was stated by the acting head of the organization, Carl Skau.

"WFP is ready to provide assistance and support in response measures to quickly come to the aid of the affected areas," he wrote on X.
