In Armenia, they do not see any risk or threat to personal data in the case of transit internet traffic through Azerbaijan.

This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan after a government meeting on Thursday.

Earlier it became known that Telecom Armenia and Azertelcom signed an agreement under which internet to Armenia will go transit through Azerbaijan.

"We constantly say that Armenia should become a transit hub. The more flows pass through Armenia, the higher our economic, political weight and level of security. Those who oppose this want Armenia to remain in a dead end of conflict," the prime minister stated.

According to him, the "Crossroads of Peace" concept promoted by the Armenian authorities assumes that as many cables, pipelines, roads, routes, and air lines as possible should pass through the country from north to south and from east to west.

"This is the guarantee of peace and security," Pashinyan emphasized.
