Villa of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli's family robbed in Tuscany for 500,000 euros
In the resort town of Forte dei Marmi, located in Tuscany on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea, the villa belonging to the family of the world-famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli was robbed.
In total, the damage from the criminals' actions is estimated at 500,000 euros. According to preliminary data from law enforcement agencies, an organized gang of professionals participated in the robbery.
At the time of the crime, no one was in the living quarters. The owners of the property had temporarily rented out this villa to a family of American tourists who were absent during the raid. The intruders broke in and took away jewelry, expensive wristwatches, designer handbags, as well as cash. During the investigation that has begun, police officers found that the building had not been placed under guard and the alarm system was turned off at the time of the theft. It is noted that the family of the blind singer owns several properties in the area, some of which are regularly rented out to wealthy tourists for the summer period.
