Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff: Tanks of the Yeysk oil loading complex hit in Krasnodar
On August 22, Ukrainian forces struck tanks containing fuel and lubricants at the Yeysk oil loading complex in Russia's Krasnodar Territory.
As 1news.az reports, this was announced by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Telegram channel.
After the strike, a fire broke out on the territory of the facility. The extent of the damage inflicted is being determined.
The Yeysk oil loading complex is part of the infrastructure of the seaport of Yeysk, located in the Taganrog Bay of the Sea of Azov. The facility handles the reception, storage, and shipment of petroleum products onto maritime transport.
The throughput capacity of the port's cargo terminals is about 6.8 million tons of cargo per year, with more than 1 million tons accounted for by liquid bulk cargo, including petroleum products.
