More than 100 tourists stranded in Kamchatka due to washed-out road

More than 100 tourists have been stranded in Klyuchevskoy Park in Kamchatka due to a washed-out road.

As 1news.az reports citing Russian media, this was stated in a message from the press service of the government of the Kamchatka Territory.

"On August 22, in the area of the Plosky Tolbachik volcano, heavy precipitation caused the washout of an access road used by the main tourist groups. An elevated water level is also being observed in the Studenaya River. Traffic along the road is impossible. More than 100 tourists from various tour companies are on the territory of the Klyuchevskoy Nature Park," the message said.
