Ursula von der Leyen arrives on a visit to Azerbaijan

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen arrived in Azerbaijan on a working visit on July 1.

An honor guard was lined up at Heydar Aliyev International Airport, where the flags of Azerbaijan and the European Union were flying, in honor of the guest.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen was met at the airport by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, European Union (EU) Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and other officials.
