Zakir Hasanov expressed condolences to his Kazakh counterpart

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has sent condolences to the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Dauren Kosanov.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

"I am deeply saddened by the news of the deaths of nine servicemen who drowned during exercises in the Caspian Sea, the injury of one serviceman and the disappearance of seven people. I express my deep condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died as a result of this accident, and I wish a speedy recovery to the injured serviceman. I hope for a positive outcome of the search and rescue operations. May the Almighty rest the souls of the deceased. Allah rəhmət eləsin!" the message of condolence says.

Note that 9 servicemen died during Kazakhstan's military exercises in the Caspian Sea.
