British defense minister's plane loses signal near Russian border
The plane carrying British Defense Minister John Healey lost its satellite signal near the Russian border.
The Times reported this.
According to the publication's authors, the plane carrying Healey began experiencing radio interference while flying near the Russian border on its way from Estonia to Britain. GPS navigation was lost for the entire flight. To restore the signal, the equipment needed to be restarted, but this was impossible in the air.
It is noted that the minister was visiting British soldiers stationed in southeastern Estonia. On board with Healey were military and political advisers, a lieutenant general, two photographers, and a journalist.
