Ministry of national defense: Spirit of independence continues to live in hearts of residents of Turkey and Azerbaijan

The Ministry of National Defense of Turkey congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28 - Independence Day.

As reported by 1news.az, the publication of the defense department of the fraternal country on social networks quotes the words of one of the founders of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic Mammad Emin Rasulzade: "The banner once raised will never fall."

The Ministry of National Defense noted that "the spirit of independence that rose over Azerbaijan on May 28, 1918, continues to live in the hearts of the residents of Turkey and Azerbaijan."

"On the Independence Day of our fraternal country, we proudly greet the people of Azerbaijan - an integral part of the noble Turkic nation. With mercy and gratitude, we honor the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the Motherland, and express gratitude to the hero-veterans," the publication says.
