Zelensky: I am ready for direct peace talks with Putin

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is ready to start direct negotiations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin right now.

As reported by UNN, the Ukrainian leader explained this by his unwillingness to "wait until the US completes the resolution of other international conflicts."

"I am ready to start direct negotiations with Putin right now, so as not to wait until the US finishes all conflicts in the world, and then it will be our turn. Washington's attention today is largely focused on the situation around Iran. We are not in focus today. In my opinion, Iran is question number one for the US," he noted.
