Bayramov and Araghchi discuss situation around Iran and issues of regional security
Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
As reported by the MFA, during the conversation the sides discussed the current state of Azerbaijani-Iranian relations, prospects for bilateral cooperation, as well as the situation in the region and security issues.
Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information to his Azerbaijani counterpart on the progress of the negotiation process around Iran and the latest developments in this direction. In turn, Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of diplomatic efforts to maintain regional stability.
In addition, the ministers exchanged views on other issues of the bilateral and regional agenda, and also discussed the latest processes of mutual interest.
