Bayramov: TRIPP will strengthen regional connectivity

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke at the event "Prosperity through Peace: Investing in the Trans-Caspian Trade Route and TRIPP," organized within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

In his address, he presented Azerbaijan's vision for strengthening regional connectivity.

This was reported by the press service of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry on the social network X.

The main focus was on the TRIPP project. Bayramov noted that its implementation will contribute to the development of broader regional ties and the strengthening of long-term peace. The minister highly appreciated the efforts of the United States in implementing TRIPP and expressed gratitude for the support provided.

According to Bayramov, the project is not limited to the transport sphere and has significant potential for developing regional energy ties and diversifying energy sources.

The minister also spoke about Azerbaijan's ongoing investments in creating an integrated transport and logistics hub around the Port of Baku and the Alat Free Economic Zone. In addition, he emphasized the importance of expanding digitalization, optimizing logistics and customs procedures, and coordinating actions among partners, particularly noting the successful road maps for cooperation with Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Georgia.
