Turkish foreign ministry: We hope that in the post-election period Armenia will take bolder steps towards peace

The Turkish Foreign Ministry issued a statement regarding the parliamentary elections held in Armenia.

"We welcome the fact that the parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 7 took place in an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. We hope that in the post-election period Armenia will take bolder steps towards peace and normalization of relations in the region," the Turkish Foreign Ministry noted.

"Turkey, as before, will continue to contribute to ensuring regional stability and prosperity based on the common interests of the countries of the region," the statement emphasizes.
