Former Trump adviser to marry Turkish businessman

Turhan Mildon is known for carrying out major business projects in developing and strategically significant regions. He met Habba at an event in the United States. The entrepreneur was previously married to Betül Gürsoy, the daughter of the owner of the influential Turkish company Gürsoy Group. Their marriage ended in divorce in 2024.

Mildon's business has long extended beyond Turkey. Since 2021, his holding company has received construction contracts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo worth a total of about $1 billion, and has also begun operating in the local mining sector. According to the entrepreneur himself, his entry into the African market was facilitated by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who personally introduced him to DRC President Félix Tshisekedi.

Mildon is also developing business in Venezuela — a country whose market carries serious sanctions risks from the United States. In order not to violate American law, the entrepreneur gave up projects in the oil, chemical, and mining sectors, focusing on cement production. After that, he managed to restart ten previously idle plants and win the support of the Venezuelan authorities.

Thus, the upcoming marriage will unite a former member of Donald Trump's inner circle with an entrepreneur whose business interests extend to a number of geopolitically sensitive regions.
