Bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus discussed

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov held a meeting on June 13 with Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Unal Ustel.

As stated in the message of the Cabinet of Ministers, the parties discussed the dynamics of high-level contacts between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus, as well as the development of interparliamentary ties.

The importance of holding the Days of Culture of Northern Cyprus in Baku was noted as a continuation of expanding cooperation in the cultural and humanitarian sphere.

The parties also emphasized the successful development of interaction within the Organization of Turkic States, including the active participation of Northern Cyprus in observer status, and discussed prospects for further cooperation in various directions.
