Azerbaijani PM meets with Vice-Governor of Russia’s Astrakhan region
On June 25, Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, met with Denis Afanasyev, Vice-Governor and Chairman of the Government of Russia’s Astrakhan region.
The officials hailed the high level of cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the regions of the Russian Federation, including the Astrakhan region.
They also emphasized the positive dynamics in the development of economic, trade, and investment relations between Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region, highlighting the expansion of cooperation in the fields of transport, logistics, culture, humanitarian affairs, and education.
The parties particularly stressed the implementation of the Astrakhan region's project to build a preschool educational institution in Azerbaijan’s liberated Gubadli district.
The meeting also addressed issues related to further strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Astrakhan region in areas of mutual interest.
