Estonian prime minister's rating drops to historic low
The approval rating of Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal dropped to 4% in June, which is one of the lowest figures in the country.
This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by Turu-uuringute AS commissioned by Delfi.
The previous minimum support for Michal was recorded in May at 6%, but the following month his rating continued to fall. The leader of the Estonia 200 party, Kristina Kallas, also received the same amount (4%).
The survey also shows that the drop in Michal's rating is linked to the low level of support for the Reform Party, averaging around 12%.
In the ranking of political leaders, the first place is occupied by the head of the opposition Isamaa party, Urmas Reinsalu, with 20% support. Next is the leader of the Center Party, Mihhail Kõlvart, with 16%, whereas a month earlier their indicators were the same.
In May, polls indicated that the current president Alar Karis enjoys much greater support from Estonian residents than the previous head of state Kersti Kaljulaid.
