Life insurance payouts in Azerbaijan rise by almost 32% over the year
The volume of insurance premiums for life insurance types in January-July of this year in Azerbaijan amounted to 580.017 million manat, which is 9.2% more compared to the same period last year.
As 1news.az reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), payouts for life insurance types during the reporting period grew by 31.8%, reaching 495.731 million manat.
Thus, over the 7 months, in the life insurance market, out of every 100 manat of collected insurance premiums, 85.5 manat were returned to clients. A year ago, this indicator stood at 70.8 manat.
