Death of woman after heart surgery investigated in Ganja

In Ganja, a woman died after heart surgery performed at a private hospital.

As Qafqazinfo reports, Kamala Gasimova, born in 1958, a resident of the Terter district, was discharged from the medical facility after the operation.

After some time, the woman's condition worsened, after which she was again taken to the private hospital. Despite the medical assistance provided, it was not possible to save her life.

The woman's body was sent for forensic medical examination to the Ganja city branch of the Public Legal Entity "Association of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medical Examination."

The city prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation into the incident.
