Iran's foreign ministry expresses condolences to family of deceased Azerbaijani diplomat
The Iranian side expresses condolences to the family of the Azerbaijani consul who died as a result of a car accident.
Spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Ismail Bagai stated this today at a press conference in Tehran.
According to him, the consular department of the Iranian Foreign Ministry is in contact with the Azerbaijani embassy in Iran regarding the transportation of the body of the Azerbaijani diplomat to Azerbaijan, as well as in connection with this tragic incident.
It should be noted that on May 23, Consul of the Azerbaijani Consulate General in Tabriz Ramil Rza ogly Imranov died as a result of an accident on the Julfa — Tabriz highway near the settlement of Marand while performing his official duties.
