Shamil Ayrym congratulated Azerbaijan on Independence Day - FOTO
Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, head of the Turkish-Azerbaijani friendship interparliamentary group Shamil Ayrym congratulated Azerbaijan on May 28 – Independence Day.
«May 28 is not only the independence day of fraternal Azerbaijan, but also a symbol of the will of the Turkic world for unity, independence and freedom», - Shamil Ayrym wrote on his account on the social network X.
He noted that the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, founded in 1918, occupied a special place in history as the first democratic republic of the Turkic and Islamic world: «From the bottom of my heart I congratulate fraternal Azerbaijan on Independence Day; with respect, gratitude and reverence I remember all the heroes of independence, first of all Heydar Aliyev.
Our brotherhood, crowned with the Karabakh Victory, will continue forever in the spirit of the principle «One nation - two states»».
