Berdimuhamedov: Turkmenistan committed to developing cooperation with Azerbaijan
Turkmenistan is committed to developing cooperation with fraternal Azerbaijan.
Turkmenistan President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stated this during a meeting with Azerbaijani Culture Minister Adil Kerimli, who is visiting the country.
Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that events within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Turkmenistan will make an important contribution to the development of cultural ties between the two countries.
Kerimli, in turn, emphasized that Azerbaijan attaches special importance to the development of relations with fraternal Turkmenistan and noted the role of mutual culture days in strengthening ties.
The interlocutors noted that cooperation between the two countries is developing dynamically in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
Berdimuhamedov recalled the successful holding of the Days of Turkmen Culture in Azerbaijan in October last year. He expressed confidence that the shared historical and cultural heritage creates a solid foundation for further deepening interstate dialogue and confirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to developing cooperation with fraternal Azerbaijan.
