The condition of two Azerbaijani citizens injured as a result of a drone attack on a ship in the Azov Sea is assessed as moderate, and two others as normal.

APA was informed about this by the head of the Azerbaijani community in Yeisk, Farhad Mamedov.

He said that he visited his compatriots undergoing treatment in the trauma department of the Yeisk Central Hospital and provided for their immediate needs. He emphasized that the Azerbaijani citizens Rashad Madatkhanov, Samid Ibadly, Emin Valekhov and Namig Jafarli are under the supervision of doctors.

The injured Azerbaijani citizens also noted in a conversation with APA that they feel normal and continue treatment in the hospital. They added that they were visited by representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Yeisk and employees of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia, who inquired about their needs.
It is reported that the Azerbaijani citizens will be discharged from the hospital on Monday, however, the discharge process will be slightly delayed due to the lack of documents with them (they were lost on the ship during the drone attack — ed. note).

It was emphasized that the Azerbaijani Embassy is already working on providing the victims with the necessary documents.
