Lavrov on Armenia: need to sort it out promptly
Armenia has already adopted a law on joining the European Union, so the issue of the country's membership in the EAEU is on the table, and it needs to be sorted out promptly, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
"(According to statements by the Armenian leadership - ed.) So far, there is no talk of any exit from the Eurasian Economic Union, because we (the Armenian leadership - ed.) have not yet joined the European Union. You know, Armenia has already adopted a law on joining the EU, so the issue is already on the table... Here, of course, we will have to sort it out promptly," Lavrov said at a press conference.
