President Ilham Aliyev expresses condolences to Xi Jinping

President Ilham Aliyev expressed condolences to Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China.

The letter says:

"Dear Mr. Chairman,

We are deeply shocked by the news of the death and injury of a large number of people as a result of an explosion at a coal mine in Shanxi province.

In connection with this tragedy, on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I express my deepest condolences to you, the families and loved ones of the deceased, and the friendly Chinese people, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured."
