Head of Israeli intelligence service secretly arrives in UAE for dialogue with Palestinians

Director of Israel's General Security Service (SHABAK) David Zini arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and held a meeting with former head of the Preventive Security Service of the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) in the Gaza Strip Mohammed Dahlan.

This was reported by the state television and radio company Kan, citing sources.

Officially, the service neither confirmed nor denied the fact of the visit of the head of the department to the UAE and the meeting with a representative of the Palestinian forces.

Earlier, The Wall Street Journal reported that the United States, Israel and Arab countries are considering Dahlan, who now lives in the UAE, as a compromise figure for all sides who could lead the Gaza Strip after the end of the conflict.
