Bayramov discusses fate of missing Azerbaijanis with ICMP head
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a meeting with Director General of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) Kathryne Bomberger, who is visiting Azerbaijan.
During the talks, the sides discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and the ICMP, issues of establishing the fate of missing Azerbaijanis, as well as the role of international cooperation in solving this humanitarian problem.
Bayramov noted that as a result of Armenia's military aggression, the fate of about 4 thousand Azerbaijani citizens remains unknown to this day. According to him, clarifying their fate remains one of the key priorities for the country.
The foreign minister also emphasized that Armenia's provision of complete information about the locations of mass graves and maps of mined territories is of great importance for establishing the fate of the missing.
