Iran ready to export highly enriched uranium to China

Iran has expressed readiness to remove highly enriched uranium from its territory as part of resolving the conflict with the United States.

However, as the channel Al Hadath reports, citing high-ranking sources, Tehran insists that the material must be transferred specifically to China.

“Iran is ready to remove highly enriched uranium from its territory,” the channel quotes sources as saying. At the same time, according to their data, Tehran “sets as a condition the shipment of highly enriched uranium to China.”

The channel's interlocutors also noted that the Islamic Republic “seeks to obtain guarantees from China before moving forward” in negotiations with the United States.
