Ukraine's foreign ministry says level of threats from Russia has not changed

According to the Ukrainian side's assessment, the overall level of security threats from Russia to Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities remains unchanged compared to previous years and months.

This is reported by the press service of Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The agency expressed gratitude to foreign diplomatic missions and diplomats who continue their work in Ukraine amid the military conflict, despite, as noted, "pressure and threats" from Russia.

The Foreign Ministry stated that for more than four years and three months Russia has been using various means of destruction against the Ukrainian capital and other cities, including missiles and drones, and the strikes, according to the agency, are regular in nature.

The statement also emphasizes that new threats from Moscow are viewed by Kyiv as an attempt at pressure and blackmail, including against foreign diplomatic missions. Ukraine's Foreign Ministry believes that such actions could be used in international legal proceedings.

In addition, the agency stated its readiness to assist in strengthening security measures for foreign diplomatic missions upon relevant requests.

In conclusion, the Foreign Ministry stressed that, in their opinion, an effective response to the threats is to strengthen international support for Ukraine, including bolstering air defense systems and further political pressure on Russia.

Earlier it was reported that Russia had stated plans to strike targets of military and administrative infrastructure on Ukrainian territory, including decision-making centers and command posts.
