Iran names condition for resuming negotiations with US

Iran will not agree to resume negotiations with the US until they unblock Iranian assets abroad.

According to its information, Iranian negotiators during their visit to Qatar are trying to eliminate the last disagreements regarding the mechanism for accessing previously frozen funds.

Earlier, the Tasnim agency reported that about $24 billion in Iranian funds could be unfrozen as part of a memorandum of understanding that will become part of a peace deal between Tehran and Washington.
