Tucker Carlson will not support the Republican Party
American journalist Tucker Carlson stated that he no longer intends to support the Republican Party of the United States.
He made this statement in an interview with the authors of the Can't Be Censored podcast.
"I will not support the Republican Party. I will not support the Republican Party under any circumstances. The Democratic Party either. I don't know what I will do," he said.
"How can I or any other American voter support a political party that is not loyal to the United States and puts the interests of a foreign state above the interests of its own citizens," the journalist added.
Earlier, Carlson stated that he had become disillusioned with the policies of the current American administration. The journalist himself named February 28 as the date of the break between him and the White House occupant Donald Trump—the day when the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran.
Earlier, Carlson was an active supporter of Trump and campaigned for voters to back him. He also supported the current president's policies after his second inauguration on January 20, 2025. After a series of foreign policy steps by the current administration, especially the launch of the operation against Iran, Carlson moved into opposition to the president and began sharply criticizing his policies.
