Pashinyan: Armenia was in a deadlock until August 8 of last year

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Washington summit on August 8, 2025, brought Armenia out of the deadlock and opened up prospects for the country that should be taken advantage of.

This is stated in Pashinyan's message on the occasion of the first anniversary of the trilateral meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the United States in Washington.

At the same time, he emphasized that the process of implementing the peace agenda has not yet been completed.

"Until August 8, 2025, our state was in a deadlock, and after August 8, boundless prospects opened up before us. Whether we take advantage of them or not depends on our collective will," the prime minister stated.

Pashinyan named the "Trump Route" (TRIPP) project as one of the most important results of the Washington summit. According to him, the project will become one of the key elements of the economy of the country and the region.

"In the near future, we will begin the practical implementation of TRIPP, and this will become a major regional and international event," Pashinyan emphasized.

The head of the Armenian government added that the page of conflict between the two countries has been closed, and peace has become part of the daily life of citizens.
