In Italy driver rams into group of cyclists after quarrel

Four cyclists were injured when a car hit them after a quarrel with the driver in the Italian province of Turin, one of them is in serious condition, Adnkronos agency reported.
According to preliminary data, the conflict began after the motorist overtook the group of cyclists, honking the horn several times. One of the athletes expressed dissatisfaction with this.

As noted by the newspaper Corriere della Sera, the driver suddenly stopped, engaged reverse and hit the group of cyclists. After that he returned and hit the victims again.

After the incident the driver turned himself in to the carabinieri service. Investigations are currently underway to establish the exact picture of what happened. Toxicological tests will also be carried out on the man.
Several ambulances and a helicopter from the regional air ambulance service arrived at the scene.
Two of the injured were taken by helicopter to a Turin hospital. Two more, who suffered various injuries and fractures, were hospitalized in moderate condition.
