Woman attacks husband with ax in Baku
In the Yasamal district of Baku, a 62-year-old man sustained serious injuries as a result of a domestic conflict.
The incident occurred in apartment No. 38 of building No. 16 on 2nd Street in the Yeni Yasamal settlement.
According to preliminary data, Elshan Hajiyev (born 1964) beat his wife during a quarrel. In response, the 60-year-old woman attacked her husband with an ax and struck him several times. As a result, the man sustained serious injuries to his face, both arms, and back.
Their son took the ax away from his mother and called an ambulance. The victim was taken to the Clinical Medical Center in serious condition, where he is undergoing surgery. According to doctors, his condition is assessed as serious.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
