Baku Olympic Stadium lit up in colors of the American flag on the occasion of US Independence Day.

As reported by 1news.az, the US Embassy in Azerbaijan thanked Azerbaijan in this regard.

«Thank you, Azerbaijan! The US is preparing to celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence on July 4, and we were very pleased that on Tuesday the magnificent Baku Olympic Stadium was lit up in red, white and blue colors of the US flag. This valuable gesture is a wonderful symbol of the strong friendship, mutual respect and strong partnership between the American and Azerbaijani peoples,» the message says.
