New hydropower plants and digital energy infrastructure being built in Aghdara - PHOTO
In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, Azerenerji OJSC is implementing large-scale energy projects in the Aghdara district.
As Azerenerji reported, the "Chardagly-1" hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 8.2 megawatts and the "Chardagly-2" hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 6.8 megawatts are being built on the section of the Tartarchay River that passes through the Aghdara district.
Along with this, the "Hasanriz" hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 10.4 megawatts, located in Aghdara, is being reconstructed in accordance with modern standards. At the same time, the "Hasanriz" substation with a voltage of 110/35/10 kilovolts is being dismantled and completely rebuilt on the basis of the latest digital technologies.
In addition, the new "Gozlukorpu" hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of 14.7 megawatts has been built in Aghdara, and its opening took place in January of this year with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev.
